Cooperative Have Important Role in Regional Develop Industry

Minister of Industry Saleh Husin inaugurate Service Cooperative Work in Plasa Exhibition Nurani Rakyat , the Ministry of Industry , South Jakarta . Along with the inauguration, also held Featured Products Exhibition of Domestic Industry .

In his speech , Saleh stated that currently the cooperative still has an important role in encouraging the growth of domestic industry .

With the presence of cooperatives in the community believed would foster micro -scale industries , small and medium enterprises.

” Economic development through cooperative sector can affect other economic sectors. One of them can be independent business field for the millions of people who could potentially increase the income of the people involved in it , ” he said in Jakarta , Wednesday ( 16/03/2016 ) .

Saleh explained, there are a variety of functions and benefits of the cooperative presence in the community. First, cooperatives can play in order to develop the potential and capabilities of the local economy, especially its members.

Second, the existence of the cooperative is able to improve the economic welfare and sosiasl in the vicinity. And thirdly, where the cooperative is able to strengthen the economy of the people as the basis for the strength and resilience of the national economy.

“Cooperation will play an active role in efforts to improve the quality of life and human society in general,” he said.

Especially for Service Cooperative Work Conscience, Saleh said the cooperation would contribute to foster the development of craftsmen and labor-intensive industries in each region. So far, the industry assisted the cooperative in the region of Cirebon and Banten.

“With this cooperation, it is expected the resulting products will be better, in terms of quality, design, and packaging. At the same time embracing the region’s potential entrepreneurs to be more creative,” he said.
